The overall objective of this program is to contribute to job creation in the agri-food sector by supporting production units in developing and sustaining their business. The participants are 20 MSMEs and 5 Cooperatives: they will all participate in 10 training sessions at first and then participate in one-on-one coaching sessions tailored according to each entity's needs. The training topics include: finance for startups, pitch preparation, access to certification, marketing management, product development and innovation, market access sales, awareness to people with disabilities, food packaging and labeling, access to finance, and business plan writing.

FTL is a Lebanese NGO founded in 2006, aiming to support small local agro-food producers in Lebanon through job creation and economic empowerment. FTL works according to Fair Trade principles which include a commitment to offering Opportunities for Disadvantaged Producers, Transparency & Accountability, Fair Trade Practices, Non-Discrimination, Gender Equity, Women’s Economic Empowerment, and Freedom of Association. Furthermore, FTL has developed long-term relationships with more than forty groups of producers across different Lebanese regions and its projects benefit today more than 4,000 individuals. FTL facilitates access to markets to beneficiaries, via trainings, development of products, and access to certifications. Through years of project implementation with national and international partners and donors, FTL has developed a substantial expertise in project management and studies management.
